World Cup: Stadium & City Guide
If there is one party you don't want to miss this year, it is soccer's 2006 World Cup in Germany. While some may be put off by the thought of overcrowded cities teeming with throngs of fans from all over the world, for most the World Cup is a celebration like no other. For one solid month, from June 9 to July 9, Germany will welcome thousands of visitors coming together to speak one language: Soccer or Football, if you're already on the other side of the pond.
The tournament will be played in 12 cities and feature some of the most spectacular stadiums ever built. With an investment of over $1.7 billion in reconstructions and new facilities, Germany 2006 is set to go down in history as one of the greatest tournaments ever played.
In this issue, HISPANIC Magazine brings you the essential World Cup guide, with all the information you'll need should you find yourself at the stadium in one of these cities.
