The cast includes Carmen Maura, Julieta Cardinali and Jean Pierre Noher. The subtitled film was

Six-Feet-Under Latina
At last, the hit HBO show Six Feet Under has decided to put the vivacious actress Justina Machado to good use. Her character is beginning to move past the one-dimensional role she once had. Chicago-born Machado plays Vanessa, the wife of ambitious mortician Federico Díaz. No longer a mere backdrop in the current third season, Machado’s role blossomed with her husband’s newfound partnership in the business. The veteran actress’ résumé includes movies such as She’s So Lovely, Full Frontal and the upcoming Torque. Machado, who is Puerto Rican, got her start in the Latino Chicago Theater.

Latinas on Most Beautiful List
People recently released their annual “Most Beautiful” list, which included some of the hottest Latinos in the entertainment industry. Singer Christina Aguilera, who has been tearing up the pop music charts, appeared on the list with more clothes on than usual. The multi-talented Jennifer López also scored a place on the list, as well as Oscar-nominated Salma Hayek.

Diego Luna May Win Another Big Film
Diego Luna (Y tu mamá también) is in negotiations to star in the Warner Bros. Pictures movie Criminal alongside John C. Reily and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Criminal is slated to begin production this month with Gregory Jacobs directing. The film, a remake of an Argentine feature, is a fast-paced caper about two men who join forces in a scam involving a forged set of extremely valuable stamps, the “Nine Queens.” Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney’s Section Eight Productions will back the film. Luna also stars in the much-hyped sequel to Dirty Dancing, Havana Nights, due out sometime in 2004.
