Latino
Baby Names
What's
in a name? Names are as individual
as the people who bear them. Some
names resound with biblical history,
others reflect virtues or identify
us with the earth, flowers, gemstones,
places or those who came before
us. But modern couples may come
up with new variations of traditional
names, or combine family names
to reflect their own particular
family histories. ENTER

25 Colleges for Hispanics
|
Few
people can argue with the benefits of
a college education. Paying for it, however,
is another matter. "I
think of going to college as probably
the most important investment that anybody
is going to make," says Skip Hastings,
president and CEO of Swansea, Massachusetts-based
Academic Management Services, which handles
monthly payment plans for colleges and
provides student loans. "Lifetime earnings
are at least double what they would be
if you don¹t go to college." Among
the schools in this year¹s Guide to the
Top 25 Colleges for Hispanics, costs range
from around $2,000 for resident tuition
at some state schools to more than $20,000
a year in tuition at some of the private
schools on the list.
